The EDHEC AI & Finance Workshop brings together researchers working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and finance. The workshop is designed for in-depth discussion in a focused setting.
The program features two keynote speeches and four research presentations, each followed by a dedicated discussion.
Semyon is a Swiss Finance Institute Associate Professor at EPFL and a Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR). He serves as an Associate Editor of the Journal of Finance and Journal of Financial Econometrics. His research centers on machine learning and deep learning methods in asset pricing and financial markets.
Lasse is a professor at Copenhagen Business School, director of the Center for Big Data in Finance, and a principal at AQR. He has served as Director of the American Finance Association, on the Economic Advisory Boards of NASDAQ and FTSE, and on several editorial boards, including the Journal of Finance and Quarterly Journal of Economics.
